COLLEGE BOARD MEMBERS ENDORSE QUIRK-SILVA

FULLERTON, CA—65th Assembly District Assemblywoman Sharon Quirk-Silva today announced receiving the endorsements from the president and several board members of the North Orange County Community College Board.

Board President Jackie Rodarte and board members Barbara Dunsheath, Steve Blount, Ed Lopez, Molly McClanahan have all joined Quirk-Silva’s re-election campaign.

“Our community colleges are the backbone of California’s higher education system providing a bridge to higher education and career technical education opportunities for hundreds of thousands of Californians every year,” said Quirk-Silva. “I will continue to strongly support their mission and I appreciate the faith my friends at the college board have shown in my work.”

Quirk-Silva spent over 20 years teaching in the Fullerton School District prior to being elected to the Assembly in 2016. She is the former Mayor of Fullerton and served in the Assembly from 2012-2014.

The 65th Assembly District includes Buena Park, Cypress, Fullerton, La Palma, Stanton and most of West Anaheim.
