FULLERTON, CA—65th Assembly District Assemblywoman Sharon Quirk-Silva today announced receiving the endorsement of California’s strong advocacy group for victims of violent crime, Crime Victims United.

“Based on your strong philosophical support for our issues, we have unanimously endorsed your campaign for re-election,” wrote Harriet Salerno, chair of Crime Victims United.

CVUC is a bi-partisan, statewide organization comprised of victims of crime, law enforcement officials, legal professionals and others who work to protect and enhance public safety.  These professionals, along with CVUC, work to promote effective crime reduction measures and strengthen the rights of crime victims.

Quirk-Silva spent over 20 years teaching in the Fullerton School District prior to being elected to the Assembly in 2016. She is the former Mayor of Fullerton and served in the Assembly from 2012-2014.

The 65th Assembly District includes Buena Park, Cypress, Fullerton, La Palma, Stanton and most of West Anaheim.
